PHASE 1 – Unit has tripped

Identify shutdown type and root cause. Refer to OEM manual and site procedures.

On HMI, open alarm/trip list and identify the first (root cause) trip. Do not clear trips blindly.

Note trip name and time. Determines next actions and whether 4-Hour Lockout Avoidance applies.

Confirm which shutdown type the system is performing: Controlled (normal stop), Cool-Down Motoring (CDLO, NS), Fast Stop with Motoring (FSWM, ES), or Fast Stop Lockout (FSLO, ESN).

Status or shutdown type indicator. FSLO = no automatic crank; FSWM = automatic 15-min crank at NGG < 300 RPM. If T48 > 1150°F at trip, 4-Hour Lockout Avoidance applies.
