Crank test / purge (no ignition)

Step 1 – Pre-conditions for Crank Test

Crank test is done without ignition to verify the start system and purge the exhaust. It requires EMERGENCY AC available (diesel-generator running).

Confirm the turbine is in [Ready] state on the TCP (Turbine Control Panel).

Confirm the off-skid emergency diesel-generator is running and EMERGENCY AC is available.

120 VDC battery breaker (FB1) closed. Control system energized.

Pre/post lube oil pump running. Lube oil pressure normal.

Gas fuel valve (FSV) CLOSED — crank with no ignition.

Exhaust cover and drain caps open. Area clear.

Verify there are no active shutdown alarms in the Alarm Bar.
