Load setpoint limit in kW
kW control mode is default in grid operation. Adjust from Setpoints screen in the TCP. Refer to OEM manual.
Confirm the 15 kV Circuit Breaker is closed and the unit is generating load.
On the TCP window: navigate to the GENERATOR or Control System screen.
Verify the active control mode in the 'Speed/Load Control Mode' box.
Press the SETPOINTS button to open the setpoints window.
Locate the 'kW Setpoint' or 'Speed' field. Tap the current value to open the dialog.
Enter the new desired load value in kW. MAX LIMIT: ~13,000 kW (ISO) — do not exceed.
Press OK to confirm. Verify that the new value appears in the window.
Monitor: generator load should move gradually toward the new setpoint.
Do not exceed system frequency limits while adjusting speed/load setpoints.
Record the programmed setpoint, time and operational condition.
