Step 1 – Emergency Stop

Only use emergency stop when plant conditions require an IMMEDIATE shutdown. No cooldown period is included.

An emergency stop prevents turbine operation until acknowledged and reset via local ACKNOWLEDGE and RESET switches, and the backup relay system is reset. If no EMERGENCY AC power is available, start the off-skid diesel-generator immediately after the emergency stop.
