Safety Topics

Fire Safety

Keep all ignition sources ≥15 ft from PRS. No smoking, vaping, or cell phones near equipment. In case of fire: evacuate, press ESD, call fire department. Do NOT attempt to disconnect hoses.

Natural Gas Release

Engage nearest ESD immediately. Open all doghouse doors. Perform staged leak test starting at 100–300 psig on inlet in 150 psig increments until leak is found. Use LEL monitor throughout. Do not operate until leak is resolved.

Grounding & Bonding

PRS must be grounded/bonded per NFPA 70 Article 250. Bond to nearest stationary grounded equipment. Ground to nearest grounding station if available. Secure cable to PRS before introducing gas.

Transport Prep

Vent all gas. Close all valves. Disconnect all hoses and iron. Lower and secure vent stack. Stow stairs. Disconnect and stow grounding cable. Remove wheel chocks. Perform walk-around before moving.
